This black E 50mm f/1.8 OSS Lens is from Sony. The bright design pairs with a 75mm equivalent focal length for a flattering perspective and quick focusing and image stabilization also help to achieve sharp imagery. A fast f/1.8 maximum aperture facilitates working in low light conditions and allows shooters to create images with an extremely shallow depth of field. Optical SteadyShot image stabilization helps to minimize the appearance of camera shakes for sharper imagery when shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds. This stabilization system can be combined with a select camera's sensor-shift type image stabilization for more effective control of camera blur.

Mia C. ★★★★★

Bokeh from this lens is gorgeous—the f/1.8 just melts backgrounds into creamy blur, and the OSS lets me shoot handheld in low light without worrying about shake. Focus is snappy on my a6000, though you do hear a tiny click when it locks.

Grace ★★★★★

The f/1.8 aperture makes isolating my subject in portraits effortless, and the built-in image stabilization has been a lifesaver for handheld shots in low light. I’m really impressed with how sharp the focus is every time.

Daniel ★★★★☆

The 75mm equivalent focal length gives such a flattering look for portraits, and the bokeh at f/1.8 is genuinely creamy. Only minor gripe is the focus can hunt a bit in low light, but it's quick enough outside.
