Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS Lens

Shaped for Portrait Mastery

The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS is a crown jewel prime built for full-frame EOS R cameras. With its wide f/1.2 opening and special Defocus Smoothing (DS) coat, it yields velvety blur and striking subject lift—tailor-made for portrait crafters and image poets.

Defocus Charm

Canon’s DS layer softens the rims of out-of-focus glows, turning bokeh into a fluid wash that blends like brush paint—ideal for dreamy, film-like frames.

Pure Optics

Armed with Blue Spectrum Refractive optics (BR), Ultra-Low Dispersion glass, and an aspherical piece, it reins in color shift and flare. Even at f/1.2 wide open, it draws crisp detail and bold contrast edge to edge.
